How it works

Knockout or league?
A knockout bracket is quick: whoever loses is out, until one champion is left. Ideal for a tournament day or evening. In a league everyone plays everyone, once or home and away, and the points decide the table. That takes longer, but every match counts.
Byes and seeding
A bracket needs 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64 places. With 6 players, two places stay empty: that is a bye, and whoever gets it goes straight to the next round. The byes go to the top seeds, the first names in your list. Seeding also keeps the strongest players apart, so they can only meet late in the tournament.

- Only in this browser, on this device. Nothing is sent to us until you choose Save and share. Clearing your browser data removes it.

- With a free account: you get a live page to share, and a link players can use to enter their own scores.
